Sunnedon House | |
Sunnedon House is situated halfway up West Street in Coggeshall, just a little way from Paycockes, and was at one time the home of the Swinborn family who owned the gelatine and isinglass factory at the far end of West Street. In the early 1930s it was sold to the Church of England and became a mother and baby home. It closed in the 1950s and now is split into several properties. |

Records from Sunnedon are held at the Essex Record Office, Wharf Road, Chelmsford, BUT there is a bar on them for public use until 2050. Relatives seeking information should contact the address below - help may be available there. | |
