Essex Record Office
A wonderful place to find out about your Essex ancestors with an on-line catalogue which has a 'reserve ahead' facility for documents. The site is user-friendly and there are links to many other sites for researchers. Plenty of microfiche and film readers as well as computers with access to Ancestry. The staff are friendly and always willing to help - a great facility.
